Exploring Time Travel: Scientific Foundations and Metaphysical Implications

This project explores the scientific foundations, philosophical debates, and cultural depictions of time travel. It delves into the intricacies of time dilation, the Novikov Self-Consistency Principle, closed time-like curves and the ongoing debate between Presentism and Eternalism. Furthermore, it examines the theory of multiple universes, the Block Universe model, the Kerr Black Hole, and prominent examples of time travel in popular culture. By integrating perspectives from physics, metaphysics, and fiction, this study seeks to offer a thorough understanding of the complex and intriguing concept of time travel. The project draws several conclusions and opportunities for further investigation.
